Turn your iDotMatrix into a live desktop companion.

DeskDot is the all-in-one app for your iDotMatrix: 100 apps, 31 multiplayer games, live data from 45+ free sources, a studio for your browser and phone, and an MCP server so AI agents can see the panel and drive it.

No install: the full engine runs in the tab and talks to the panel over Web Bluetooth (Chrome, Edge or Opera on Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux and Android; on iPhone use the Bluefy browser).

What it is

One engine owns the panel. Everything else talks to it.

DeskDot runs on your computer (or a Raspberry Pi) and keeps the panel's Bluetooth link smooth. You drive it from a studio in your browser, from your phone, from scripts, or by asking an AI agent.

The engine

Renders every app at 32×32, bakes loops into GIFs the panel plays on its own, streams only what changes, and reconnects by itself.

The studio

Library, playlists, presets and live settings with an LED-accurate preview, on desktop and phone. See the studio.

The MCP server

21 tools let Claude and other agents look at the panel, run any app, change settings, draw pixel art and notify you. Set it up.

Real renders, not mock-ups

Each preview on this site is rendered by DeskDot's own engine at 32×32, the same frames your panel gets. Here are a few; the explorer has all 100.

Unofficial. DeskDot is an independent, community-built project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by the makers of iDotMatrix; the name is only used to say which panels it works with. It runs locally and sends nothing to the manufacturer.
